Racing to save Lives

Lauren is training to participate in the Mrytle Beach Half Marathon on February 16, 2008. She started training on November 3rd, 2007, and over the next couple of months, she will be training to run 13.1 miles. This will be her first EVER half marathon.

Her personal goal is to complete the Myrtle Beach Half Marathon and raise a minimum of $2100 towards the cause by December 14th, 2007. She is also running for our honored hero Jean C. Parker who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 1990.

If you would like her to run in honor or memory of one your friends or family members, let her know and she will wear their name at the race. Just send Lauren an email at stewartlas@gmail.com.

In order to achieve her goal, she is asking those who can to please make a donation to support her participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society’s mission. Team in Training is fully sanctioned by the South Carolina Chapter of LLS and all contributions are tax deductible. Even the smallest amount helps!

If you would like to make a donation of $1, $5, $10, $25 or anything just click here its really simple.
