Taylor has SEC experience, coaching four years at Tennessee from 2004-07 before joining OSU in 2008. Taylor coached running backs for the Vols for two seasons before switching to wide receivers for 2006-07.
Taylor is also known as one of the nation’s top recruiters being named by Rivals.com as a Top 25 recruiter in both 2005 and 2007. He was an integral part of Tennessee signing the nation’s No. 3 class in 2007 and No. 4 class in 2005.
THE CLEVELAND SHOW is a new animated series that follows everyone’s favorite soft-spoken neighbor CLEVELAND BROWN (voiced by Mike Henry) to his hometown in Virginia, as he settles down with his high school sweetheart, her unruly kids and his 14 year-old son, CLEVELAND JR (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson).
Many years ago, Cleveland was a high school student madly in love with a beautiful girl named DONNA (voiced by Sanaa Lathan). Much to his dismay, his love went unrequited, and Donna wound up marrying another man. Cleveland once told Donna he would always love her, and if this man ever done her wrong, he’d be there when she called. Well, this man done her wrong.
Donna’s husband ran off, leaving Donna with a daughter and a baby. Now she’s come to Cleveland and offered him another chance at love. Unattached after the Loretta-Quagmire debacle and true to his word, Cleveland joyously accepts and he and CLEVELAND JR. move to Virginia to join their new family.
Once in Virginia, Cleveland has a few surprises in store for him, including a rebellious new stepdaughter, ROBERTA (voiced by Nia Long), a 5-year-old stepson, RALLO (voiced by Henry), who loves the ladies, as well as a collection of neighbors that includes a loudmouth redneck, LESTER (voiced by Richardson); a hipster wanna-be, HOLT; and a family of talking bears, including TIM (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) and his wife ARIANNA (voiced by Arianna Huffington).
Seth MacFarlane, Rich Appel and Mike Henry serve as executive producers and co-creators.
Gene Chizik as the muscle, “26-0 from 2004-2006, come get some”
Gus Malzhan as the evil genius, “fake triple option reverse halfback pass?”
Rodney Garner as the anti-saban, “you tryin’ to play for who?”
Trooper Taylor as the Muschamp impersonator “Boooooom”
Curtis Luper as the closer, “i put running backs in living rooms on Sundays”
Also announced saturday…Antonio’s nephew Terrance Coleman re-committed to AU! TC is rated the #49 defensive tackle in the country. As a senior, he tallied 96 tackles, 36 solos, 14 tackles-for-loss and 10 sacks.
There are several reasons the Colemans’ news is big:
- skill: we get back an All-SEC Defensive End, 2 time sack leader and leadership desperately needed on the D-Line and on the whole defensive side of the ball, that i frankly didn’t think we’d get back
- depth: was about to be a major issue…now we have some breathing room with not only a Sr. leader, but also a new body with a bunch of potential to fill in at either DE or DT.
- recruiting: getting TC back on board can only help keep our pipeline open at Williamson, and with a guy like Barry James coming up next season, having TC and LaVoyd James could loom large.
- momentum: the ball is rolling for AU now with excellent coaching additions, Coleman coming back and regaining a commitment. recruiting thrives on momentum and it’s starting to pick up steam for the good guys.
Your season was a failure bammers…yeah, you did beat the worst Auburn team on the plains in years, congrats. But you had the chance to play for the national title and choked! Then you got beat down by a Mountain West Team. This is a Utah team full of players the even the Sabanator himself wouldn’t have recruited. HA HA HA. Now here are 5 reasons why its going to get even uglier in T-town:
1. Saban can’t retain quality coaches – Steele to Clemson shows just how horrible it is to work for him. The coaches can’t grow their name with an “all Nick, all the time” media gag order.
2. Graduations. You got a preview of how the Turds will be vulnerable last night. Yes, they’ll sign $$$ a good class, but they won’t be playing with an Oline that’s close to the one that ran them to 12-0 without SJPW having to win a game on his own.
3. NCAA trouble. Dealings with an agent? Your done bama. With the season over now, the Turds will have the sheriff arrive in West Vance within 45 days.
4. AU’s on the UP. Fresh, better SEC coaching competition at AU. Chizik is hiring hard core recruiters who can also coach. Auburn will be running the most innovative, creative, most fun to watch offense while putting on the field the toughest defense seen in years under Chizik.
5. Saban will run off to Dallas to coach the cowboys once Jerry Jones signs that check.
GO TO HELL ALABAMA!!!

Taylor was assistant head coach at Tenn in 2007
Trooper Taylor is going to be hired as one of AU’s assistants. Taylor is Oklahoma State’s Co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach. He is highly regarded as a top notch recruiter. In 2007 while he was at Tennessee he was assistant head coach/player development and receivers coach for the Volunteers. He landed 4, four stars and 1, five star player. Taylor was recognized by Rivals.com as a top-25 recruiter in 2005 and 2007. I have no info on the players he is recruiting at Oklahoma state
Chizik – Malzhan – Willis – Luper – Maybe Taylor – Maybe Garner … AU is putting together a sick @$$ recruiting staff!!!! WDE
Curtis Luper – Oklahoma State’s assistant head coach/running backs coach – has been hired to coach running backs at Auburn.
Mike Sherman really wanted him at Texas A&M before this season, Gundy wanted him more and held on to him. With Luper coaching the Cowboy running backs in 2007, Oklahoma State led the Big 12 and ranked eighth nationally in rushing with 243.2 yards on the ground per game.
In three full recruiting classes at Oklahoma State, he recruited 3, four star players there, and is currently has Oklahoma State atop the list for the number two dual threat QB in the nation in Tyrik Rollison. He is a proven position coach and very fiery on the field.
The biggest thing is look at his RB’s production under his coaching. He recruited and coached the best RB in Mountain West Conference history in Dontrell Moore, finished with over 3,500 yards for his career. He also coached Dantrell Savage, Keith Toston, and Kendall Hunter. Just go look at those RB’s stats and you will be impressed.
He also played RB at Oklahoma State behind Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders, so he knows the position.
One more positive is he coached in Texas before going to New Mexico, and has recruited Texas for Oklahoma State, that’s where Rollison is from. So maybe he can go into Texas and help us recruit there, along with Malzahn as well.
